Who are we?

Mika Arakawa is a partner with AKIT Tax Co. and CEO of AKIT Tax Lab. Ltd.. She has over 15 years experience in the tax and business advisory field.  

Mika has been working for Deloitte Tohmatsu Tax. Co for over 11 years as a Tax Manager, and been involved in a variety of tax and business advisory projects, and expert in the tax advisory for the Japan inbound enterprises, including individuals.  She has extensive experience in representing taxpayers undergoing Japanese tax audits and handling audit defense matters. 

She speaks English.

She is a Certified Public Tax Accountant in Japan.

Ryo Katsuragawa has over 15 years experience in the tax and business advisory field.  

Ryo has been working for Deloitte Tohmatsu Tax. Co as a Tax Senior Manager, and has been mainly working for the Japan listed companies who expand its business around the world. His expertise varies, tax audit defense, NTA (National Tax Agency) ruling support, in addition to the multi-national international taxation support.  He has joined the co-publishing with Deloitte. 

He is a Certified Public Tax Accountant in Japan.

Miho Ito is a partner in AKIT Tax Co.  She has over 15 years experience in the tax and business advisory field. She is a Certified Public Tax Accountant in Japan.

Miho had been working for KPMG Tax Co. and Deloitte Tohmatsu Tax. Co for over 12 years as a Tax Manager. She is working with the Japan inbound enterprises, including individuals and Japan-based multinationals in a broad range of industries.
